Last week's results are finally sorted.

Race this Tuesday is a skiathlon!
7pm start.
Approximately 10km, course maps to come.
If you don't have skate skis, you can classic the whole thing if you want.

Sprint course!

Hi everyone!
In light of Western Canadian Champioships, which many people are participating in, we are moving the race to WEDNESDAY this week. I'm sorry for the short notice, I had to verify that we would have the volunteer base to run on Wednesday.
It will still be a CLASSIC SPRINT. Course maps to come. Likely the same course as the skate sprint that was the first race of last year's series.
Hope to see many of you out there!

Tuesday's course map.
8km classic mass start (2 laps), 4km for U15 (1 lap).
7pm start.

A few things about tomorrow:

7 PM Start Time!

Registration will start at 6 and end 15 mins before start. (Or you can register online)

To be eligible for junior prizing, both skiers must be under the age of 15.

WAXING PROTOCOL: No Fluorinated Gliders please. We can't tell but it would be great to have people on an approximately level waxing field.

Sit ski course (clockwise):

Sit skiers do a shorter course because they only get to use their upper bodies which isn't typically as fast, but will participate in the same race (there can be sit-skier/standing-skier teams for the team sprint).

Course map for Tuesday on top, Finish area map on the bottom. Course runs counter clockwise.
Format is 2x3x1km. (2 people, 3 laps each, 1km course).

All are on Tuesdays at 7pm.

4 1/2 hours to race time. Goldbar was groomed yesterday, so with the fresh snow conditions should be pretty good.

Hi!
We're going to have to postpone tonight's race. I'm in Quebec and there's not much info out there about the race. Also, there's been quite a bit of racing recently around town and elsewhere.

Definitive cancellation: it is -21 with no windchill and -26 with. Unfortunately a bit too cold to race!
